Rei Zero

In 2049, Tokyo experienced two devastating earthquakes that reduced the city to rubble. A new capital was built on the site of the former metropolis, which became a haven for refugees, armed mafiosi and terrorists.

Ray decides to confront the local drug lord and mobster Joaquin Naito in order to prevent him from spreading his influence throughout Japan.

In the first episode, Rei and her ally Munei Sheko, a special agent of the Kirisawa Defense Force, try to break into Naito's hotel, which is heavily guarded. However, they are captured and nanorobots are implanted to control their brains. Ray manages to escape, but she finds herself almost naked in a public place.

In the second episode, Ray and Sheko get into an unpleasant situation where Sheko remains trapped with nanomachines in her body, and Ray is freed. Ray tries to rescue Sheko and get to Naito, but she herself is captured and subjected to abuse from the mafia boss. Ray has been subjected to bullying and disciplinary measures for several months. What changes are waiting for her in the future?
