Hitou Meguri Kakure Yu: Mao Hen

Young Japanese Mikio returns to his hometown after a long absence. He stops at a local hotel to get some rest and relaxation. The hotel is completely imbued with the spirit of Japan's past: there are wooden rooms with bamboo walls, and the staff wears kimonos and yukatas.

At the hotel, Mikio meets his old friend, Yukino Chitose. She reminds him of their shared past. Mikio would like to just go up and tell her about his feelings, but Kanzo, a womanizer and a sycophant, gets in his way. Kanzo starts flirting with the local girls and making fun of Mikio.
